Mazel Tov Jordan Doctors for graduating from Boyd Law School!

Jordan Doctors, a member of Midbar Kodesh Temple, graduates from the William S. Boyd School of Law in May, earning a Juris Doctorate degree with Pro Bono High Honors. He will sit for the Nevada Bar Exam in July. Jordan, a graduate of UNLV, will seek a career in Public Interest Law. While at Boyd, he was Treasurer, then President, and finally President Emeritus of the student section of the Nevada Justice Association.

He is a Public Interest Fellow and received a grant from the Public Interest Law Association. He has completed extern and internships with Nevada Legal Services and most recently has been doing research for the Immigration Clinic at Boyd School of Law. He also does research for a local law firm.Jordan is a board member of the David L. Simon Foundation and is charged with the responsibility of selecting and supporting grants for projects that benefit children and Jewish education.

His community service and volunteer work includes working as a volunteer for Aide for Aids of Nevada and serving as a McCarran Airport Legal Observer for the ACLU. Through Boyd School of Law he was a Small Claims Class Teacher and participated in the Partners in Pro Bono program. He has been a volunteer educational advocate. Most recently Jordan has been assisting in the preparation of DACA renewal forms at the Immigration Clinic at UNLV.Jordan is the son of Tiffany and Steven Doctors, significant other of Lenna Davis, and grandson of Marcy and Gerald Welt and Lois and Malcolm Doctors.
