Earlier today, Midbar Kodesh Temple hosted L'Dor V'Dor, the only program of its kind in Southern Nevada to provide entertainment and a hot kosher meal to seniors who are home and facility bound. This is the first time the program was hosted in Henderson in its 17 year existence. Over thirty Midbar Kodesh Temple members and parents from the Midbar Kodesh Early Childhood Center volunteered for the program, which saw well over a hundred participating seniors from seventeen assisted living facilities and additional private residences. Entertainment was provided by the Early Childhood Center students and Cantor Daniel Gale.

We want to thank all of our volunteers, including Stuart and Sandy Stern who chaired the committee to put the event together, and we look forward to hosting this important event again.
