Chief Master Sergeant Neal A. Raben retires from the Air Force

Chief Master Sergeant Neal A. Raben retired from the Air Force on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. He is the son of Terry Raben and the bonus son of Barbara Grisar Raben.

At retirement Chief Master Sergeant Raben, was the Superintendent of the 56th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. His responsibilities included the maintenance and care of 46 F-35’s and 53 F-16s. He ensured that 760 personnel were supplied, trained and equipped to provide complete support for the wing’s training mission while ensuring they provided safe and reliable aircraft.

He has served in Utah, Arizona, Idaho, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Japan and Alaska. He has had a variety of deployed assignments including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emerites, Baharan and South Korea.

The Rabens are long time Las Vegans and have been members of Midbar Kodesh Temple for almost two decades. They share 6 children and 5 grandchildren.
