Bekah Winkler's Bat Mitzvah project was collecting used crayons for the Crayon Initiative, to be melted down and made into new crayons for children in hospitals. She collected and sorted through over 40 lbs. they were shipped to the Crayon Initiative. The David L. Simon Foundation also gave a generous donation to the Crayon Initiative as well.
