Passover in January?

It is January, so who is thinking about Passover? Well, believe it or not, we are about to start the book of Shemot, Exodus in our weekly Torah reading. Whenever we start Exodus, it prompts me to start thinking about our annual tradition of hosting the first night Seder here at MKT. We are blessed to have a generous subsidy from the David L. Simon Foundation for Education and Tikkun Olam to help keep the costs down. We are about to start the process of planning for the special evening and are looking for volunteers to be on the Seder committee. I know it’s early, but if you are planning on coming to the MKT Seder anyway, why not join the committee and help make it even better than last year.

If you are interested, please contact me right away so we can plan our first committee meeting in the coming weeks.
