Ryan is originally from Philadelphia and Melissa is originally from Long Island, New York. Ryan was the Director of Sales at the Cosmopolitan and is now looking for a new adventure. Currently he is a stay at home dad learning financial/retirement planning. Melissa is an early childhood special education instructional interventionist with CCSD. Melissa is working on her PhD in Special Education at UNLV with an emphasis in early childhood special education.

Just this past Sunday Ryan and Benjamin helped with the building of the sukkah in Jessica's Garden, meeting several members of the congregation. "We are so happy to be part of this family/community who have welcomed us in," said Ryan. "Looks like Sunday mornings are a great time to gather at Midbar Kodesh Temple," referring to the activities that give a sense of belonging.

This past Sunday, members carefully gathered to give out High Holiday care packages and to build the sukkah. There was also an on-line round challah baking class and religious school. Sundays also finds members gathered around the Zoom Room for Trivia Night! Melissa and Ryan look forward to being part of the activities that Midbar Kodesh Temple has to offer now and in the future and look forward to watching their family grow together with Midbar's family.
