Mazel Tov Talia!

Talia Anne Diamond, daughter of Midbar Kodesh Temple members Sharon and Kevin Diamond, will be called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah in March. Talia is granddaughter to Sid and Arlene Diamond and Jack Tick as well as Jean Tick, of blessed memory. She is the younger sister of Nathaniel Diamond. Aunts, uncles and cousins will travel from New York, Florida, Arizona and California to join Las Vegas family and friends in celebration.

Talia has grown up at Midbar Kodesh Temple where her family has been a member for almost 2 decades. She is a member of Midbar Kodesh USY and spends summers at Camp Alonim in Brandeis, California. Talia is a 7th grader and math is her favorite subject. She is a member of the school choir program and takes hip hop dancing at a local dance studio.

Talia just completed her mitzvah project by organizing a day to make non-sew blankets for the children at the Shannon West Homeless Youth Center. She also collected gift cards to present to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Talia who often shares her beautiful voice, shares from her favorite Alonim camp song saying that "the whole world is a very narrow bridge and the most important part is not to be afraid.”
