MKT Member Lesley Cohen runs for NV Legislature

Midbar Kodesh Temple is pleased to announce that member Lesley Cohen is running to represent Assembly District 29 in the Nevada Legislature after having represented the area in the 2013- 2014 session.

One of Lesley's favorite memories of serving in the Nevada Legislature was when Rabbi Tecktiel gave the invocation in the Assembly Chamber prior to a legislative floor session.

Lesley's family have been members of Midbar Kodesh for almost 20 years. She has lived in the Henderson area since childhood. Lesley is a lawyer who is active in the community volunteering in pet adoption, community clean up and as an attorney for indigent clients.
