What Activities Are Part Of Our Program?
Each day, we prepare various STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) activities to provide your child with a well-rounded early education and prepare them for the elementary years. Our daily program includes:
Garden Time
Our students learn to appreciate the world around them by tending our school garden. Each day time is spent in the garden caring for and watering plants as they learn about the important role of nature in their lives.
Social Hall Centers
Learning to take turns and play games is important for a child’s physical and social development. We do this through a variety of activities and games such as yoga, music, organized games, and free play.
Activity Room
Our activity room offers free exploration time for children to learn more about activities that interest them. The focus is on science and music through the use of age-appropriate projects such as legos, and a makers’ space for guided projects.
Art/Science/Social Studies
Cultural studies are integrated into all aspects of our curriculum and daily routine. Reciting Jewish blessings and observing a special Friday Shabbat service at 10:30 once a week, are simple ways we keep our Jewish traditions alive.
Circle Time/Hebrew
Starting and ending our day as a group helps to foster community and respect for one another. Children take time to share about the day and reflect on what they learned and, as a group, practice important Hebrew words and phrases.
Tuition
We work to make tuition affordable for every family depending on your needs. For our Henderson preschool tuition, we offer several options depending on:
1. The age of your child
2. The number of days your child attends during the week (part-time or full-time)
3. Full-day or half-day enrollment
We believe that learning happens best through interactions with adults, other children, and the environment. We work hard to incorporate these aspects of learning into everyday activities to help your child thrive. For more information about our preschool program please contact us or schedule a tour of the school.
