Midbar Kodesh Temple's Mike Murdock, an IT Systems Administrator, came to Las Vegas with former wife Leslie in 2005, joining the synagogue in 2007. Here, they found a close community that made them feel at home. Now, with joint parenting a priority, they decided to stay in Las Vegas. Ryan and Melissa Yarczower moved to Las Vegas in July 2018 and found Midbar Kodesh Temple a few months ago, enrolling their 9 year old son, Benjamin, in MKT's religious school. Benjamin is older brother to 4 month old Harrison. The Yaczowers came to Las Vegas from Alexandria, Virginia, just on the Virginia side of Washington DC.
