Emily, who came to Las Vegas with AIPAC 13 years ago, enjoys being a stay-at-home parent to 5 year old Zach and 2 year old Cole. Myra Slotnick Berkovits, a graduate of Loyola University-Chicago, was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she taught at risk children for 14 years. Myra came to Las Vegas with her husband and two young children. Camp Shemesh will be in session through July 24!
Camp Shemesh, a Summer program for children 18 months to 5 years old at Midbar Kodesh Temple, started in full swing earlier this month as children returned to the building for the first time since March, when the synagogue building and school closed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
